- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 3/4 c. brown sugar
- 1 (8 oz.) can pineapple, well drained
- 1/2 c. pecans
- 4 cherries
- 1 c. flour
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. milk
- 3 Tbsp. shortening
- 3/4 tsp. vanilla
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
Directions

1Melt butter. Stir in brown sugar and pecans. Spread in bottom of Handi-Pan. Top with pineapple and cherries.

2Blend remaining ingredients at low speed until moistened.

3Beat 2 minutes at medium speed.

4Pour batter over fruit in pan. Bake in a 350° oven for 20 minutes. Check cake center with toothpick.
