- 1 1/2 Tbsp. margarine or butter if you're reckless
- 1 (1 lb. 4 oz.) can crushed pineapple, well drained (reserve juice)
- 1/2 to 3/4 c. light brown sugar
- 1 yellow, vanilla or lemon cake mix
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Divide margarine and melt in two 9-inch cake pans.

3Divide pineapple between the two pans, spreading with the back of a tablespoon.

4Sprinkle half of the sugar in each pan, covering the pineapple.

5Dot with additional margarine and set aside.
