- 1/2 c. light Karo syrup
- 1/4 c. soft margarine
- 12 slices pineapple, drained
- 1/4 c. brown sugar
- 1 pkg. cake mix
Directions

1Preheat oven to cake package directions.

2Blend margarine, sugar and syrup in a 2 x 9 x 13-inch pan.

3Arrange pineapple slices on blended mixture and heat in oven for 15 minutes.

4While heating, mix cake batter as directed.

5Pour over heated ingredients and bake 45 to 55 minutes or until done.

6Invert pan, let stand 1 minute and remove pan.
