- 1/2 c. melted butter
- 1 c. brown sugar
- pineapple slices
- 3 eggs
- 1 c. sugar
- 5 Tbsp. pineapple juice
- 1 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 iron skillet
Directions

1Melt butter in skillet, add brown sugar and dissolve.

2Place pineapple slice on mixture and set aside.

3Beat egg yolks and add sugar and pineapple juice.

4Mix and add flour and baking powder sifted together.

5Beat and fold in egg whites that have been stiffly beaten.

6Pour batter into skillet and bake at 350° until cake is brownish.
