  • 1 white cake mix
  • 3 tablespoons cake flour, sifted
  • 1 (3 ounce) package strawberry Jell-O gelatin dessert
  • 12 cup water, and juice mixture
  • 1 cup salad oil
  • 4 large eggs
  • 5 ounces frozen strawberries
  • 1 (16 ounce) package powdered sugar
  • 12 cup butter
  • 5 ounces strawberries

    Thaw berries and lay eggs out to come to room temperature.

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

    Mix flour, jello, and cake mix.

    Add water and 1 tablespoon of juice (from strawberries) to make 1/2 cup.

    Add water mixture, oil, eggs, and mix with a mixer at low speed.

    Add berries and mix evenly.

    Pour evenly into a cake pan.

    Cook 20 to 30 minutes, until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

    Soften butter and add sugar.

    Mix well with berries and 1/2 the juice.

    Add juice by spoonful to desired consistency.
