  • 1 1/2 c. pintos
  • 1 1/2 c. plain flour
  • 1/2 c. cornmeal
  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • salt
  • meat grease

Directions

    Cook pintos until about half done; drain water off.

    Put pintos in the mixture of cornmeal, flour and soda.
  3. 3
    Mold into baseball size balls.
  4. 4
    Put into a pot of boiling water.
  5. 5
    Cook slowly for about 1/2 hour.

    Remove from water.

    Cut open; pour meat grease over them and salt to taste.
