  • 1 1/2 sticks butter
  • 2 Tbsp. fresh minced parsley
  • 1 Tbsp. chives (dry or fresh)
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 3 large garlic cloves, minced
  • salt to taste
  • 6 pita rounds

Directions

    Mix together first 6 ingredients.

    Let stand covered at room temperature for 1 hour.

    Cut pita bread in half and then tear open. Spread the butter mixture on inside and put on baking sheet.

    Cook in oven for 5 minutes or until crisp at 450°.
