- 1/2 qt. flour
- 1/8 qt. yeast
- 1/8 qt. sugar
- 1/8 qt. salt
- 1/8 qt. oil
- 1/4 qt. water
- 1/8 qt. cornmeal
Directions

1Set aside 125 ml.

2flour in a separate bowl.

3Mix 375 ml.

4flour, yeast, sugar, and salt in a bowl.

5Heat oil and water until hot to touch (50C).

6Stir into dry ingredients.

7Mix enough of remaining flour to make a soft dough.

8Place dough on lightly floured surface and knead for five minutes.

9Cut into 4 pieces, shape each onto a ball.

10Cover and rest 10 minutes.

11Roll each into 13 cm circle.

12Sprinkle cornmeal on baking sheet.

13Place circles on baking sheet (2.5 cm apart).

14Cover with dry towel and place on a bowl 1/2 full of boiling water.

15Let rise for 25 minutes.

16Place one baking sheet close to the bottom of the oven (other sheet on the center rack).

17Preheat to 375F.

18Place baking sheet on bottom rack and bake 3-4 minutes.

19Move to center rack and bake for 2-4 minutes.
