- 4-4 1/2 c. flour
- 1 pkg. active dry yeast
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 c. warm water
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 3 c. tomato sauce
- 1 lb. Mozzarella cheese
Directions

1Preheat oven to 420°.

2In large mixing bowl, combine two cups flour, yeast, and salt.

3Stir in water, egg, and oil.

4Beat at low speed with mixer for 30 seconds, scraping sides of bowl.

5Beat 3 minutes at high speed.

6By hand, stir in enough flour to make a moderately stiff dough.

7Put onto floured surface and knead until smooth (about 5 minutes).

8Place in a greased bowl, turning once to coat dough.

9Cover, and let rise until size doubles (about one hour).

10Divide dough into two portions.

11Place each portion on greased pizza pan.

12Spread dough out to pan edges.

13Top with tomato sauce and cheese, and bake 25 minutes.
