- 1 tsp. granulated sugar
- 1 c. warm water
- 1 envelope active dry yeast
- 1/4 c. olive oil
- 3 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. salt
Directions

1In a large bowl, dissolve sugar in warm water.

2Sprinkle with yeast and let stand 10 minutes or until foamy.

3Stir oil into yeast mixture.

4Stir salt and about half of the flour into the yeast mixture.

5Gradually stir in enough remaining flour to make a slightly sticky ball.

6Knead dough on a lightly floured surface until smooth and elastic, about 8 minutes.

7Place dough in a greased bowl and let rise 1/2 hour.

8Punch down dough and let rest 15 minutes; cut in half.

9Roll out each piece of dough and place on a lightly greased 14-inch pan.

10Let rest 15 minutes.

11Preheat oven to 450°.

12Dough is now ready for sauce and toppings.
