Ingredients

  • 1 pound Hot Breakfast Sausage
  • 1 pound Hamburger
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Basil
  • 1/2 teaspoons Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Parsley
  • 1 pound Velveeta, Cubed
  • 2 packages (16 Oz. Package) Pepperidge Farm Small Party Rye Bread

Directions

    Brown and crumble sausage and hamburger together in a skillet over medium heat.

    Drain.

    Stir in all the dried spices.

    Return to heat and add cubed Velveeta to meat mixture and stir until cheese has melted and combined well with the meat.

    Remove from heat.

    Line party rye in a single layer on baking sheets.

    I use a little less than two packages of bread.

    Spread about one tablespoon of meat/cheese mixture onto each slice of bread.

    Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.

    Serve warm.
