  • 3 cups all-purpose flour sifted
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon anise extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons Galliano liqueur or any vanilla based

Directions

    Add the sifted flour, baking powder and cinnamon to a large mixing bowl.

    In a separate bowl beat 6 eggs

    Add the oil, liqueur, anise and vanilla extract and beat to incorporate the ingredients.

    Add the wet ingredients, into the dry ingredients, and beat to blend.

    You should obtain a silky and thick sticky dough.

    Grease and pre-heat an electric pizzelle iron
  7. 7
    Drop a tablespoon of of the dough on the griddle.

    Cook until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes depending on your appliance.

    Remove with a spatula. .
