  • 3 c. self-rising flour
  • 1 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 c. Crisco (solid)
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Cream the sugar and Crisco.

    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.

    Add 1 cup of flour, then vanilla, then rest of flour; mix well.

    Knead on floured surface.

    Roll out thin.

    Cut and bake at 325° for about 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool a few minutes before removing from pan.
