- 3 c. self-rising flour
- 1 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 c. Crisco (solid)
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Cream the sugar and Crisco.

2Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.

3Add 1 cup of flour, then vanilla, then rest of flour; mix well.

4Knead on floured surface.

5Roll out thin.

6Cut and bake at 325° for about 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool a few minutes before removing from pan.
