- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 Tbsp. minced green pepper
- 5 Tbsp. butter
- 3 c. milk (1 c. broth may be used)
- 6 Tbsp. flour
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 2 Tbsp. pimento
- meat from 2 fryers or 5 lb. hen
Directions

1Boil chicken until meat falls off bone.

2Cook celery in broth. Saute

4and pepper in butter until tender. Add flour and milk; stir well until thickened.

5Add soup, stirring constantly until thickened (like a white sauce).

6Add chicken, celery and pimento.

7Salt to taste.

8Serve over already baked Pepperidge Farm pastry shells.
