  • 1 c. water
  • 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • food coloring

Directions

    Mix salt, flour and cream of tartar in a medium saucepan.

    Add vegetable oil and water.

    (Add several drops of food coloring to water for colored play dough.)

    Cook over medium heat until thickened and play dough pulls away from the sides of the pan.
