  • 1/2 c. salt
  • 2 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 Tbsp. cooking oil or baby oil (baby oil smells good)
  • food coloring

Directions

    Mix dry ingredients together good.

    Add water and oil.

    Mix together.

    Put in saucepan.

    Cook over medium heat 2 to 3 minutes or until it forms into a ball, stirring constantly.

    Do not overcook.

    Food coloring may be added before or after cooking. Knead slightly on wax paper and let cool.
  8. 8
    Store in airtight container.
