  • 7 Tbsp. butter or margarine, divided
  • 3/4 c. sugar, divided
  • 3 to 4 plums, pitted and thinly sliced
  • 1 egg
  • 1 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/3 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract

Directions

    Place 1 tablespoon butter in a 9-inch round baking pan.

    Put pan in a preheated 350° oven to melt.

    Remove from oven and sprinkle with 1/3 cup sugar.
