Ingredients

  • 3-4 cups of water
  • a few dashes of salt
  • 1 3/4 cups of yellow cornmeal
  • 3 tbs unsalted butter

Directions

    1. bring the water to a boil in a meduim sauce pan and add salt.

    2. gradually mix the corn meal in stirring offten untill the cornmeal is thickened and the cornmeal is nice and tender.

    3. remove the pot from the stove and add the butter. stir untill it's melted.

    4. spread the polenta on a baking sheet and let it cool. then cut into chapes.

    5. enjoy
