- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1/4 c. chili powder
- 2 Tbsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 54 oz. dark red kidney beans
- 51 oz. tomato puree
- Cheddar cheese, shredded
Directions

1Brown the ground chuck with onion and chili powder in an 8-quart pot over low heat, stirring as needed to break up the chunks.

2Cook until the onions are tender.

3Add salt, brown sugar, beans and puree.

4Cook 15 minutes.

5Top with shredded Cheddar cheese and serve with a side of oyster crackers.
