- 2 c. sliced carrots
- 1/2 tsp. each: salt and nutmeg
- 1/8 tsp.; pepper
- 3 Tbsp. chopped dates
- 3 Tbsp. crushed pineapple, well drained
- 3 Tbsp. cashews
Directions

1In heavy saucepan, melt butter.

2Add carrots and seasoning. Cover and cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until tender (6 to 8 minutes).

3Stir in pineapple; heat thoroughly. Garnish with cashews.
