Polynesian Dip

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Mayonnaise (not Miracle Whip!)
  • 1 cup Sour Cream
  • 1/4 cups Fresh Minced Parsley
  • 1/4 cups Finely Chopped White Onion
  • 1/4 cups Finely Chopped Water Chestnuts
  • 1 clove Minced Garlic
  • 1 Tablespoon Soy Sauce
  • 1 dash Salt
  • 1 dash Paprika

Directions

    Mix all ingredients and chill at least 3 hours, preferably overnight.

    Serve with raw vegetables for dipping.

    I have used dried parsley (when I realized I forgot to buy fresh parsley).

    It works, but it is not as good.

    Also, I am not a fan of water chestnuts, but it is an important part of this recipe.

    I use my heavy duty garlic press to mince sliced waterchestnuts rather than chopping them.

    This dip is also really good with salty potato chips.
