Ingredients

  • 6 cups green cabbage, finely shredded
  • 12 sweet onion, finely sliced
  • 1 large carrot, coarsely grated
  • 1 stalk celery, finely sliced
  • 1 teaspoon celery seed
  • 1 tablespoon dried chives
  • 2 tablespoons dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper, coarsely ground. (to taste)
  • 2 cups mayonnaise
  • 14 cup yellow mustard or 14 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon white sugar or 4 (1 g) packets Splenda sugar substitute
  • 1 tablespoon salt (to taste)

Directions

    Combine shred mix ingredients thoroughly.

    Cover and set aside while preparing dressing.

    Mix dressing ingredients until sugar and salt are incorporated.

    In a 3 quart mixing bowl slowly combine dressing and shred mix until quite wet.

    Cover and place in refrigerator for 24 hours.

    Enjoy with BBQ, hamburgers, hotdogs of any favorite meal.
