Ingredients
- 3 c. flour, divided
- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1/2 c. oil (scant)
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. sugar
Directions

1Mix together 1 1/2 cups flour and yeast.

2Warm water, milk and oil.

3Add to flour/yeast mixture and beat well with mixer.

4Add eggs, salt and sugar and beat.

5Add 1 1/2 cups flour and beat until elastic.

6Pour into two (1 pound) greased coffee cans.

7Put plastic tops on and let rise until it touches the top, 1 hour or longer.

8Remove the top of the can (hence the name).

9Let stand for 15 minutes on wire rack then remove from can.

10Slice and enjoy!
