- About 7 c. popped pop corn
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/3 c. water
- 1/3 c. light corn syrup
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- Food color if desired
Directions

1Put popped corn in large bowl.

2Mix sugar, water, syrup, salt, and butter in sauce pan.

3Cook until 250° or until a few drops form a hard ball when dropped in cold water.

4Remove from heat.

5Add vanilla and food color if desired.

6Pour in thin streams over corn stirring to mix well.

7Butter hands and shape into balls or other shapes.

8Cool on waxed paper. 12-15 balls (depending on size).
