- 5 qt. popped corn
- 1/2 c. white corn syrup
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 1 tsp. vinegar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Put in large pan.

2Boil sugar, water and corn syrup without stirring, until it cracks when tried in cold water (260°).

3Add vinegar, salt and vanilla.

4Boil until mixture reaches 264° or it spins a thread.

5Pour slowly over corn, turning with a spoon to coat each kernel.

6Working quickly with greased hands, form into balls.

7Let stand until brittle.
