- 8 c. popped corn (1/2 c. unpopped)
- 1/2 c. light corn syrup
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 tsp. white vinegar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 3/4 c. brown sugar
- 3/4 c. white sugar
- 3/4 c. butter
Directions

1Put popped corn in a large bowl.

2Combine all remaining ingredients, except butter, in a saucepan.

3Heat to boiling over medium-high heat, stirring often.

4Cook, stirring constantly, to 250° on candy thermometer.

5Remove from heat; stir in butter until melted and slowly pour over popcorn, stirring to coat.

6Cool slightly.

7Butter hands; shape into 3-inch balls and place on waxed paper.

8Makes 8 balls.
