  • 1/2 pound popcorn (popped)
  • 2/3 c. corn syrup
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2/3 c. boiling water
  • 2 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 2 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp. melted butter
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/8 tsp. baking soda

Directions

    Combine syrup, sugar, water, and vinegar.

    Heat to boiling. Add cream of tartar.

    Boil to soft crack stage (275° to 280°). Remove from heat.

    Add butter, baking soda, and vanilla.

    Pour over pop corn.

    Form into balls.
