- 1 c. sugar
- 1/3 c. white corn syrup
- 1/3 c. water
- 1/4 c. butter
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 3/4 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Cook and stir sugar, corn syrup, water, butter and salt in a saucepan until sugar dissolves.

2Without stirring, continue cooking until syrup forms a brittle ball when a drop is tested in cold water.

3Add small quantity of vanilla, stirring only enough to mix it through the hot syrup.

4Pour hot syrup over popped corn and mix. Moisten hands and, with quick action, shape to desired form. (Color syrup with cake coloring if desired.)
