  • 1 c. butter or margarine
  • 5 qt. popped corn (plain)
  • 2 c. roasted peanuts or pecans
  • gumdrop flowers (optional)
  • 1 lb. marshmallows
  • 1/2 lb. small gumdrops
  • 1 c. chocolate candies

Directions

    Combine butter and marshmallows in heavy 2 or 3-quart saucepan.

    Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until marshmallows melt.

    Add to popcorn, candy and nuts.

    Stir until blended.

    Press mixture into a well-greased 10-inch tube pan. Chill until firm.

    Invert cake onto serving plate and garnish with gumdrop flowers, if desired.
