- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 Tbsp. melted shortening
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. milk
- 1 c. all-purpose flour
Directions

1Combine eggs, milk and shortening in mixing bowl; add flour and salt and beat until mixture is smooth.

2Pour into hot, greased custard cups or hot iron muffin pans.

3(Cups should not be more than 1/2 full.)

4Bake at 425° for 40 minutes.

5Yield: 8 to 12 popovers.
