  • 1 1/4 c. milk
  • 1 1/4 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3 large eggs
  • 3 Tbsp. melted margarine

Directions

    Grease and flour popover pan.

    Pour milk into medium bowl. Add flour and salt.

    With whisk, beat until well mixed.

    Do not overbeat.

    Add eggs, one at a time and whisk in until blended. Pour batter into pan filling three-fourths full.

    Do not scrape bowl.

    Bake at 425° for 20 minutes.

    Reduce oven to 325° and bake 20 minutes more or until golden.

    Makes 6 popovers.
