  • 1 pkg. butter pecan cake mix (Betty Crocker)
  • 1 pkg. toasted coconut pudding mix (Royal)
  • 1 c. hot water
  • 1/2 c. Crisco oil
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 1 Tbsp. poppy seed

Directions

    Preheat oven at 325°.

    Combine ingredients, starting with eggs.

    Add oil, then alternate small amounts of water and mixes until all is used.

    Add poppy seed.

    Pour into two 9 x 5-inch loaf pans that have been greased, and the bottoms lined with brown paper and greased again.

    Bake at 325° for 35 to 40 minutes.
