- 2 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. Mazola oil
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3 c. flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 large can evaporated milk
- 1/2 c. poppy seed filling (canned)
- 1 c. chopped nuts (black walnuts are great)
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350° (325° for glass pans).

2In a large bowl, beat together sugar, oil, eggs and vanilla.

3Add flour, baking soda, salt, evaporated milk, poppy seed filling and nuts.

4Pour into two well-greased loaf pans.

5Bake for 60 to 70 minutes.
