- 1/4 c. green pepper, chopped

- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. shortening
- 1 (16 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 c. water
Directions

1Mix ground beef, rice, onion, green pepper and seasonings. Form into small balls. Fry in hot fat, turning often, until light brown in color. Add tomato sauce and water. Simmer for 45 minutes.
