Pork Chop Dinner

Ingredients

  • 6 to 8 pork chops
  • 1 1/2 c. Minute rice, cooked
  • onion slices
  • 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1 (15 1/2 oz.) can cut green beans (plus liquid)
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    Bake in a covered roaster. Brown chops in roaster on top of stove.

    Pour off any fat that accumulates.

    Cook Minute rice while chops are browning.
  4. 4
    Place chops in bottom of roaster.

    Put 2 small (or 1 large) slice onion on each chop. Spoon rice over chops, mounding on each chop.

    Pour tomato sauce over all. Sprinkle green beans over all, using liquid in can. Bake for 30 minutes at 350°.

    Check to see if some water should be added, about 1 cup, if needed.

    Continue baking another 30 minutes. Serve 6.
