- 6 pork chops
- 2 Tbsp. lard
- 1 c. rice
- 1 can mushrooms
- 1 pkg. onion soup mix
- 1/2 c. celery, chopped
- hot water
Directions

1Brown chops.

2Spread rice in 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.

3Reserve 1 teaspoon onion soup mix.

4Sprinkle rest on rice.

5Add 3 cups water and mushroom juice to the rice.

6Put the chops over rice.

7Cover tightly with foil and bake for 45 to 60 minutes at 350°.

8Remove from heat for 10 minutes or until liquid is absorbed.
