Ingredients
- 4 (3/4-inch) thick pork chops
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 c. thickly sliced mushrooms
- 2 large tomatoes, peeled, seeded and diced
- 1 large green pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1/2 c. dry white wine or broth
- 1 tsp. dried oregano leaves
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 4 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
Directions

1Sprinkle chops on both sides with black pepper.

2Heat in heavy skillet.

3Add chops and brown 5 minutes per side.

4Add garlic, mushrooms, tomatoes and green pepper.

5Place chops on top of vegetables.

6Add wine or broth.

7Sprinkle with oregano.

8Cover and cook 15 to 20 minutes until chops are no longer pink and vegetables are crisp.

9Good served with buttered noodles.
