Pork Fried Rice

  • 6 c. cooked cold rice
  • 1/4 lb. bacon, diced
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp. ginger
  • 1 tsp. celery seed
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 3 Tbsp. soy sauce

Directions

    In a large skillet or wok, fry bacon until crisp.

    Add onion and cook until onion starts to soften.

    Push onion and bacon aside and scramble eggs in the center.

    Mix bacon, onion and eggs together, then push to side.

    In center of skillet, mix ginger, celery seed, garlic and soy sauce.

    Stir in bacon mixture.

    Add rice.

    Stir until thoroughly mixed and all rice is coated.

    More soy sauce can be added if necessary.

    Cook until rice is thoroughly heated.
