- 1/4 to 1/2 c. Kikkoman soy sauce
- 1/2 to 1 c. water
- 1/4 to 1/2 c. Mitsukan rice vinegar *
- small amount sugar (optional)
- 1 c. water
- 1 c. soy sauce
- 3/4 c. sugar
- dash of sake
Directions

1Dip pork loin in soy sauce and rub in with your hands.

2Brown meat lightly in a roasting pan.

3Boil sauce ingredients in a separate pan that is large enough to hold pork for further cooking after the browning process.

4After sauce comes to a boil, add meat and stir often to prevent scorching.

5Cook until transparent juices run from meat when testing fork is inserted.

6Remove meat and allow to cool before slicing.

7Allow remaining liquid to reduce in volume and thicken to be served as a sauce/gravy for pork loin.
