  • 2 c. pork or chicken, cut in strips
  • 1 stalk celery
  • 1 small onion
  • 2 Tbsp. oil
  • 2 c. water
  • soy sauce to taste
  • 2 to 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • salt to taste
  • 1/2 lb. linguine
  • water

    Cook linguine according to package directions; drain and set aside (add a little oil to water to prevent sticking).

    Slice meat into strips (boneless pork slices or chicken breasts).

    Saute in oil until browned.

    Add chopped celery, onion, water and soy sauce.

    Simmer until meat and vegetables are tender.

    Thicken with cornstarch mixed in water.

    Stir into cooked and drained linguine.
