- 6 pork chops (1-inch thick)
- salt
- pepper
- 6 slices onion
- 1/3 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 tsp. grated orange peel
- 1/3 c. orange juice
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1/2 Tbsp. salt
- 6 slices orange
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 c. water
Directions

1Lightly salt and pepper each chop.

2Brown chops on both sides in a large skillet.

3Drain fat.

4Mix sugar, water, orange peel and juice, lemon juice and 1/2 teaspoon salt.

5Pour over chops.

6Place an onion slice and an orange slice on each chops.

7Simmer, covered, on low heat for 1 hour.

8Remove chops.
