Ingredients
- 3 to 4 lb. chuck roast
- 4 large potatoes
- 8 large carrots
- 1 large onion
- 1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms
- 1/2 tsp. garlic
- 1 tsp. black pepper
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 c. red cooking wine
Directions

1Preheat oven to 325°.

2Wash roast.

3Place in roast pan.

4Add wine, salt, pepper, garlic and Worcestershire sauce.

5Brush liquid mixture over roast.

6Cover and let set in refrigerator overnight. Remove from refrigerator.

7Peel and slice potatoes and carrots. Wash and slice mushrooms.

8Add to roast pan.

9Dice onion and add to roast.
-
10Cover and bake in a 325°
-
11oven from 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until meat and vegetables are tender.
