- 1 pot roast (chuck roast)
- 6 to 8 potatoes
- 3 onions
- 3 carrots
- flour
- 1 Tbsp. oil
Directions

1Coat roast with flour.

2Put in deep pan with 1 tablespoon oil. Brown on both sides (burn, the browned the better).

3Cover roast with water, fill until about 2-inches from the top.

4Bring to a boil, cover and simmer for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.

5Makes gravy and vegetables in one pan.
