  • 4 lb. roast
  • 1 pkg. onion soup mix
  • 2 to 4 lb. fresh carrots, peeled
  • 2 large peeled onions
  • 6 to 8 peeled potatoes (whole)
  • stalk celery
  • bay leaf

Directions

    Cook roast in covered roaster with onion soup mix, onions and celery at 325° for 1 1/2 hours, then add whole peeled carrots and potatoes.

    Cover and cook until tender.

    Serve on platter.
