- 1 (3 to 4 lb.) boneless chuck roast
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 envelope dry onion soup mix
- 2 (8 oz.) pkg. fresh mushrooms
- 1 lb. carrots, cut up
- 4 to 5 potatoes, cut up
Directions

1Place mushrooms, carrots and potatoes in the bottom of a Dutch oven or roasting pan.

2Place roast on top of vegetables; spread mushroom soup over roast and sprinkle with dry onion soup mix. Cover and cook in a 300° oven for 2 to 3 hours or until it forks tender.
