- 5 -7 lbs rump roast
- 2 tablespoons lard
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 18 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 2 tablespoons onions, chopped
- 14 cup water
- 6 carrots, cut julienne style
- 1 (9 ounce) package frozen Italian cut green beans
- 14 cup flour
Directions

1Brown meat in lard.

2Pour off drippings.

3Combine salt, pepper and oregano.

4Combine with meat.

5Add onion and carrots.

6Mix flour and water.

7Add water mixture.

8Cover tightly and cook slowly 2 1/2 hours.

9Add green beans.

10Cook 15 minutes or until meat is tender and vegetables are done.

11Remove meat and vegetables to a heated serving platter.
