  • 2 lb. frozen hash brown potatoes (do not thaw)
  • 1/2 c. onion, chopped
  • 2 c. American cheese, grated
  • 1/2 stick margarine, melted
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 8 oz. sour cream
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 2 c. corn flakes
  • 1/2 c. margarine, melted

Directions

    Put all ingredients in mixing bowl and mix.

    Place in 9 x 13-inch casserole dish and top with corn flakes, mixed with melted margarine.

    Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
