  • 4 large potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/2 c. diced onion
  • 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
  • 1/2 c. chopped celery
  • 4 chicken bouillon cubes
  • 2 c. water
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. paprika
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 2 c. milk

Directions

    Melt butter in large saucepan.

    Add onion, green pepper and celery.

    Saute until tender.

    Add potatoes, water, pepper, paprika and bouillon cubes.

    Cover.

    Simmer 10 to 20 minutes until potatoes are done.

    Combine flour and a small amount of water (1/4 cup) into a paste.

    Add to potato soup.

    Add milk and cook until thickened. Stir constantly.
