- 1/2 c. chopped celery
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 2 Tbsp. margarine or butter
- 2 c. water
- 2 chicken flavor bouillon cubes or 2 tsp. instant chicken broth
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1 c. instant mashed potato flakes
- 17 oz. can corn, drained
- 1 c. half and half
Directions

1In large saucepan, saute celery and onions in margarine until tender.

2Add water, bouillon cubes and pepper.

3Cook over medium heat until bouillon is dissolved, stirring frequently.

4Remove from heat; stir in potato flakes and corn until blended.

5Add half and half.

6Return to heat.

7Heat gently, stirring frequently; do not boil.

8Garnish each serving with additional green onion slices, if desired.

9Makes 4 (1 cup) servings.
