  • 1 egg
  • Italian-style bread crumbs
  • 2 lg. potatoes
  • 1 tbsp. chopped onions
  • 1/4 cup Spanish rice
  • 1/4 cup ground beef
  • shredded steak *
  • 1 tbsp. chives
  • 1 tbsp. water

Directions

    Microwave potatoes on high setting for 1-2 min.

    Mash and add water, onions and half of the chives.

    Make a half-inch thick rectangle pattie.

    Spread Spanish rice and ground beef on to pattie.

    Slice pattie in two even sections.

    Roll into suasage-like shape.

    Cover in egg, then in bread crumbs.

    Fry in skillet until lightly brown.

    Garnish with rest of chives.
